A Madeira native with a voice wide enough for the breadth of her soul, Beatriz is one of the most promising singers in Fado and Portuguese music. At just 23 years old, she became relevant not only in Portugal, but also abroad. She has shared the stage with Ana Moura, her Fado godmother.

A young singer from Alentejo who shares his hometown with António Zambujo and carries the legacy of multiple generations of traditional Portuguese music. Cante Alentejano came up during his childhood, and Fado only later, but naturally, as the genre he chose to combine, in perfect harmony, with the influences of his heritage.

Singer-songwriter from Cape Verdean and Guinean ascent, a lover and interpreter of traditional Cape Verdean and World music. He started singing in Cape Vert in the serenades and backyard jamming sessions by influence of his family. He sang with various Portuguese, Cape Verdean and Guinean music singers, bands and ensembles, in choirs and in on-stage performances. In 2019, he started a solo career singing his original work.

Marta Garret started studying music when she was 7 years old. She studied at the Gregorian Institute of Lisbon, in Portugal’s Hot Club, and graduated in Jazz in the Higher Education School of Music of Lisbon, completing a semester in the Conservatoire de Paris. She has been performing in different projects in the genres of jazz, Brazilian music and as a singer-songwriter, in cities like Lisbon, Barcelona, Amsterdam, Berlin and Copenhagen, and was the in-house singer of Maduro Bar of the Grand Hyatt Tokyo, in Japan.

Singer and songwriter, Rita has released an album and an EP of kids’ music, wrote the anthem for RTP Memória channel and is a recurrent participant in Radio ZigZag, in a universe that takes on Portuguese music, popular Brazilian music and words. She lived in Rio de Janeiro twice, but is now living in Lisbon. She’s also an actress, a writer and full of joie de vivre.

One of Portugal’s most renowned interprets and guitar players. Throughout his long career in Portuguese music, he’s had a leading role as the guitar for Ana Moura, Carlos do Carmo, Mariza, and others. Fado is his way of living.

He was born in 1978 in Rio de Janeiro. He’s a pianist, keyboardist, composer and arranger. He has played and recorded with several music projects, movie soundtracks, CDs, DVDs and with giant names in Brazilian and international music, such as Gilberto Gil, Chico Buarque, Caetano Veloso Maria Bethânia, Jaques Morelenbaum, Ziggy Marley and many others.

Dinho Zamorano was born in Olinda, in the Brazilian state of Pernambuco, into a family of musicians, starting by his grandfather, maestro Luiz Manuel Zamorano. Dinho started his musical career at only 11 years old. He released two records and co-founded the project “Viva o Samba, Lisboa” in Portugal. He has played with many renown artists, such as Seu Jorge, C4 Pedro, Neguinho da Beija Flor, Jorge Aragão, Zeca Pagodinho, Raquel Tavares, Reinaldo, and more.

A music producer, author, composer, guitar player and interpreter. “Fado is a music that doesn’t come up as a kind of artistic longing, but more like a way to get your emotions out”.

João started playing piano at 7 years old. He completed the piano course in the Conservatory of Music and a college degree in Jazz and Modern Music in Lusíada University. He won the award “Young Musicians 2013” 2nd place ex aequo in a duet with Gonçalo Neto. In 2013, he moved to Amsterdam to finish a second degree in the Conservatorium van Amsterdam. Since 2016, he has established himself in Lisbon in order to become a pianist in Quarteto do Toscano and in the project Elas e o Jazz. He plays regularly in Lisbon’s prime jazz places.

João was born in Moçâmedes, Angola, in 1962. In his artistic road as a percussionist, with over 86 CD and DVD, he recorded and collaborated with countless national and international artists: Dulce Pontes, Ennio Morricone, Andrea Bocelli, Caetano Veloso, Ivan Lins, Fausto Bordalo Dias, Urban Ensemble, and many more.

Léo was born is Santa Clara, Cuba. In 1993, he finished his degree in bass playing and combo teaching. In Cuba, he played with Charanga Armnia de Carlos, Hot Sugar Band and Xiomara Laugart. After moving to Europe, he collaborated and recorded with Thierry Elias, Paulo Flores, Steward Sukuma, Nancy Vieira, Lura, Ivan Lins, Miroca Paris, Manecas Costa, Paulo de Carvalho, Victor Zamora, Luís Represas, Vitorino and António Chainho.

One of the best bass players in the history of Portuguese music. He came into Fado in 2004, but has played and recorded with the biggest names in Portuguese music, in and outside of Fado.

Raphael was born in Olinda, in the Brazilian state of Pernambuco, and was raised in a family that influenced him musically in a very strong way. He played with his older brothers and other friends in samba groups and family gatherings and started studying percussion at 12 years old, becoming a very dedicated perfectionist. He embraces each challenge with his love for music and for the joy it brings him to make other people smile.

Ricardo is one of the most important names in Portuguese Jazz. In 2018, his debut record “Ricardo Toscano 4tet” was considered the jazz record of the year in Portugal. In 2013, he formed his quartet that has become one of the most active jazz bands in the scene, playing in the most prestigious concert halls and jazz festivals. In 2019, he brought Jazz to NOS ALIVE and invited one of the most important drummers in the last 20 years of Jazz history, the American Ali Jackson.

Rodrigo was born in São Paulo, in 1986, into a family of musicians. He started playing guitar and double bass at 18 with different Brazilian artists. He’s been living in Portugal since 2017, where he plays in samba groups and popular Brazilian music projects.

A double bass player, Romeu is one of the most active musicians in the Portuguese jazz scene, and a band member of the Ricardo Toscano Quartet, Palheta Jazz Trio, Elas e o Jazz and of Portugal’s Hot Club Septet. Internationally, he has played with musicians such as Kevin Hays, Aaron Goldberg, Bill McHenry and Gadi Lehavi. He’s part of Leon Parker’s most recent project and studies under Bill McHenry and Alejandro Erlich Oliva.

Victor was born in Santa Clara, Cuba. In 1989 he started studying piano and classic guitar and, by the end of his graduation, started working with several Jazz and Cuban Music projects, participated in the Havana Jazz Plaza (1999) and collaborated with many Cuban artists. He lives in Portugal since 1999 and has performed all over the world, taking Latin jazz to all the great concert halls with his personal projects and as a concert musician for other artists, such as Paulo de Carvalho, Salvador Sobral, Dulce Pontes, and others.
